At the end of this month I head back to Glasgow for most likely the last time...
While it will be mainly a holiday, I am also taking time out to promote my memoir, 'The Last of the Lucky Childhoods' - growing up in Glasgow in the 40s/50s.
I am returning to my old primary school, Scotstoun, to give a talk to the pupils and donate my book to their library. Thanks to AM ,I also have some promotional material to give away.
I'm visiting the Mitchell library to given them copies of my book and hope to make contact with some of the bookshops in town who have my book online.
I am also doing an interview with the Ayrshire & Clyde weekly, which is the local paper of my old area.
I also hope to take in some of the sights of Scotland and climb the 'Ben' once more.
When I return to Australia, I already have a pretty full diary for July to talk and promote my book
